Hi Anna, could you please tell us more about PAD lifestyle?
PAD is an online lifestyle brand. We develop, produce and sell bespoke furniture and handicrafts. We also sell lighting and accessories, as well as products from our favourite designers.
You can customize the design of all our furniture, lighting and textiles. We also offer a consultancy service for interiors projects, property refurbs and developments.

What makes you different from other furniture retailers?
PAD is a lifestyle. It’s individual and creative.
Our lives and loves influence our tastes in interior design. Everybody likes different colours, texture and design. At PAD we want to make bespoke, high-end interiors affordable. We do this online. People can browse our website and shop whenever they want. We encourage people to choose a core designs. They can then customize it with their choice of fabrics and wood finishing. We also help people design pieces from scratch and we then produce it for them. This is why we don’t want to stock a lot of items. We carry small quantities in our design studio. But our main goal is to provide our customers with unique pieces.
We can deliver the products on our website straight away. Custom designs take twelve weeks to produce.

We have five main collections. Our collections are:

French chic.
Modern classic.
Scandi.
Urban vintage.
East.

You offer customizable designs, how does it works?
People can go on padlifestyle.com to find inspiration. They can buy pieces from our collection. They can also contact us or visit our studio to talk about the customization we offer. People can choose the fabrics they like and the wood finishing they need.

Please tell us more about your interior design service?
We offer interior design service for everybody. Do you want a new color scheme for a single room? Do you need to decorate an entire building? We have a solution for you. We offer a time-based consultancy. We work on every room, from bathroom to kitchen. We care about all aspect of your home decor. We provide fabrics, furniture, wallpapers, home accessories, artworks and flooring. We even pick up artworks you love. We are a one-stop interior design service.

What role do art galleries play in PAD lifestyle?
Our studio is a creative hub. We want to create a bridge between the interior design various disciplines. Alongside design schemes, furniture and home accessories, we also provide inspiring artworks. Art takes a central part in our interior design approach. People tastes in art tells a lot about the interiors they want. This is why we like to curate art for our clients. Finding the right art pieces is an important part of our interior design process. We work in collaboration with art galleries to provide the best service.

What can we expect from PAD in the future?

Discover our interior design of a villa in Nusa Dua, Bali.
For this project in Sawangan, Nusa Dua, the owner wanted to explore the beauty of Indonesian cultures.
He asked us to manufacture beautiful teak furniture with traditional carvings, and mix it with functional pieces.

Sawangan in a small village in the South of Bali.

Sawangan is a place of contrasts. Traditional ceremonies take place near luxury hotels, with beautiful white-sand beaches in the background.
The owner of this villa wanted to show this contrast between Balinese traditions and the Western comfort.

BEDROOM

We displayed some beautiful Indonesian furniture in the large open rooms.

The owner asked us to fill the house with traditional Indonesian furniture.

A huge master bedroom.

The master bedroom in this house is huge. It allowed us to display big pieces. Look at this stunning traditional day bed. It has stunning carvings. The room is open and offers a working desk and an extra king-size beds facing a large window.

BATHROOM

The metal and wood furniture in the bathroom bring and authentic yet functional feels.

Natural materials.

Natural stones cover the bathroom walls. We decided to add more natural materials with metal and wood furniture. The mix of stone, wood and metal creates a feel of purity and serenity.

LIVING ROOM

We mixed Scandinavian furniture with Indonesian handicraft in the spacious living room.

When East meets West.

In the living room, Western culture meets the beauty of Indonesia. We mixed modern and traditional pieces. You can see a Papuan mask next to a Scandinavian sofa. You can see Western graphic artworks hung above Balinese wood-carvings. The result is beautiful yet coherent interior design that meets our client’s brief.

TERRACE

We manufactured a large L-shaped sofa to fit in the long terrace.

The terrace is open on a tropical garden.

Furniture that meets your needs.

On the front of the house, a large terrace opens on a luxurious garden.
We made a long bespoke sofa to fit between the windows. The L-shaped sofa is a perfect place to relax after a dive in the swimming pool. We used waterproof linens, so you can lay down even when you are wet.

GUEST BEDROOM

The guest bedroom has an exotic and ethnic design.

A peek at Indonesian cultural history.

People who visit Bali love to experience the island’s traditions.
Our client asked us to feature Indonesian handicrafts. He wanted his guests would have a glimpse at the archipelago’s history.

KITCHEN:

The open kitchen is vibrant and modern.

We like to mix materials like the copper lamps with the Suar bar-top or the coconut pot in the background.

Cooking with ease.

The setting in the kitchen is important. You need to reach cooking tools with ease and have enough space to cook. We chose to use a lot of quality-wood with teak cabinets and a long Suar bar-top. Guests in the living-room can talk with the owner while he prepares one of his favorite dinner. We mixed the wood with other materials like the copper lamps or the stone sculptures.

TV ROOM

We designed the huge coffee table to match the size of the sofas.

Mehaya is a 3-bedrooms luxury villa in Canggu, Bali.

The owner asked us to create an interior inspired by Scandinavian design.
We worked on several proposals to meet the client’s demands, and match the open fields surroundings the house.

LIVING ROOM

With its Lazy Susan rotating tray, the round table brings a real sense of conviviality.

The best of both worlds.

For this project we created a modern interior that respect the natural surroundings.
We worked on the sizes and the floor plan, so the furniture blends with the rice fields around the villa.
Most people who move to Bali dream of an exotic environment. We offer them the comfort and quality one could expect, with a respect for the local traditions and culture.
We combined the strength and quality Scandinavian furniture with the beauty of Indonesian handicrafts.

KITCHEN

The open kitchen allows you to stay in contact with your guests while cooking.

Colors played an important part for this project.
We mixed natural wood with a soft mix of blue and green. The organic colors brings a feel of purity, health and elegance.
